Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Pro 15 (2020) comes with Intel Core 10th gen and MX350 GPU Nvidia
11th of June Xiaomi launched the Mi Notebook 14 for those who want something small to fly with (Horizon Version weights 1.35 kg). The next day , the organization is showing off a notebook for those who like something a little more beefier.
The Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Pro 15 (2020) is close to the Improved Version of the previous year. Power comes from Intel 10th generation processors – i5-10210U in the base version and i7-10-510U in the top trim model. On all instances there is an eGPU, the Nvidia GeForce MX350 (compared to the MX250 on a 14 "laptop).
The MX350 suits the 960 M GTX and is marginally slower than the 1050 GTX. Similar to the MX250, the older GPU has a ton of colors – 640 vs. 384. Both are based on the Pascal design (14 nm), but the MX350 has more than twice the TDP (25W) and significantly better memory bandwidth.
Xiaomi developed a dual fan, dual cooling pipe system to keep all this cool. Simple capacity is a 512 GB NVMe SSD, but you may get 1 TB as well. This is also connected to the upgrade from 8 GB of RAM to 16 GB (DDR4 2666 MHz).
The Mi NoteBook Pro 15 (2020) has a 15.6 "LCD that has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The 1080p screen offers 300 brightness nits and 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color space.
Below is a full-size keyboard with travel and backlighting of 1.5 mm click. There's a fingerprint reader placed on the touchpad for extra protection.
Across the interfaces hand , there are two USB-C interfaces (next to an SD card reader) and two USB-A ports on the other hand, with an HDMI and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Apps Wi-Fi 5 (ac, 2x2) and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless networking.
The 60Wh battery should last 17 hours of video playback. It can be charged to 50% in 40 minutes over USB-C. You can also use the USB-C ports to charge your phone at 18W.
The whole notebook weights 2 kg and boasts Harman Audio courtesy of two 2.5W speakers. Windows 10 is pre-installed.
The Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Pro 15 (2020) is accessible on JD.com some time now. The original edition (i5, 8GB/512 GB) is 6000 CNY while the upgrade (i7, 16GB/1 TB) is 7000 CNY. That works at $850/€750 respectively, and $1,000/€875. The i5 edition simply shows up at a marginally cheaper price, CNY 5,700, a launch day offer.
