Samsung Galaxy Watch briefly show 3 support pages, suggesting imminent unveiling
Samsung briefly put up support pages on its South Korean website for the new Galaxy Watch 3, and then removed them.
The only detail found in the pages was the system model number-four, in this situation. The SM-R840NZKAKOO / SM-R840NZSAKOO-referencing the 41 mm model-and the 45 mm SM-R850NZDAKOO / SM-R850NZSAKOO. Both are the new smartwatch's non-cellular variants; the cellular ones have the model numbers SM-R845 and SM-R855.
However, we also know some of the specifications, courtesy of Thailand's NBTC certification of the Galaxy Watch 3. The case will be shielded by Gorilla Glass XD and will have 5ATM water-resistance and cover some of the MIL-STD 810 G rating for improved longevity.
Both the 41 mm and 45 mm LTE variants will be available, and all models will have GPS. The Galaxy Watch 3 should of course have a pulse rate sensor, so it is also possible that it would even include control of blood pressure. There is also a rumored Titanium edition.
A recent rumor has suggested that on August 5, Samsung will hold an event for the Galaxy Note20 series and the Galaxy Fold 2, there is a good chance that the Galaxy Watch 3 will appear alongside them.
