Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 receives Android 10 on One UI 2
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 announced back in August 2018 with Android Oreo picking up last April's Android 9 Pie update and now it's receiving its second major update in Android 10 form.
The Galaxy Tab S4's Android 10 upgrade carries with it One UI 2 and speeds up the tablet's Android protection patch until June 1 , 2020.
The new firmware also brings in Dark Mode, clearer app icons, enhanced title and button layouts, smoother animations, and new full-screen navigation gestures. It also includes apps such as Fast Sharing and Music Sharing. The former helps users to exchange data easily with surrounding Samsung devices and the latter enables you to stream music via a Bluetooth audio app.
At the end of this article you can head over to the source link for a detailed update changelog. But note that this upgrade, sporty build number T835XXU4CTF5, is currently only rolling in Europe for the Tab S4's LTE variant (SM-T835).
If you own one, you'll receive a prompt in a few days and if you can't wait for it to pop up, you can check for the update manually by heading to the Settings > Software Update menu on your tablet.
