Redmi 9A and 9C go international with compact price tags
Xiaomi today held a major product launch keynote where we saw its latest ecosystem products debuting globally. In addition to the latest Mi Electric Scooters, rounded gaming monitor, Mi TV stick and other smart devices, the Redmi 9A and 9C smartphones have been launched globally. Those were all already announced last month in Malaysia.
The 9A is the most competitive entry with a starting price of 9 €in the Redmi 9 range. It features a 6.53-inch HD+ resolution LCD and the 5MP selfie cam waterdrop notch. The back houses a single 13MP shooter and a combo with LED flash.
We've got the Helio G25 chipset under the hood paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage. The battery arrives at 5,000 mAh and is charged over micro USB. The Android 10 phone boots, with MIUI 12 on board. The Redmi 9A comes in colors of gray, green and blue. There was no information on the supply.
The 9C will head to the base 2/32 GB version for €119, and the 3/64 GB model for €139. It features the same 6.53 "screen with the 5MP selfie shooter along with the 9A. We use two secondary 2MP cameras for macro shots and depth details right over the rear. The handset operates on the chipset of the Helio G35 and can be packed in 2 or 3 GB RAM and 32/64 GB.
The 5,000 mAh battery and micro USB charging port is another common feature of the Redmi 9A. MIUI 12 on top of Android 10 represents the device part, and the color choices are gray, orange , and blue. Unlike the Redmi 9A, we haven't got any information about the 9C 's availability.
