Oppo states that smart television is on the track, as it celebrates 1 year of 5 G in China
Oppo has been rumored to have been developing a smart television at least since Christmas and we now have some concrete evidence of those plans. The company has released an infographic on its official official blog, marking 1 year of commercial 5 G services in china.
Recently, Sister company Realme launched a few smart televisions in India operated by Android TV and featuring Google Assistant. They were priced very competitively and might be a soak test before Oppo's own venture into the field.
The other day, Oppo unveiled a set of really wireless earphones, the Enco W51. The Oppo Band made a debut alongside them too. In the infographic next to the placeholder of the TV, both of these devices are featured there, but the TV itself has yet to make an appearance.
Elsewhere, a smart TV was also introduced by Nokia of all companies, two days ago too. Smartphone firms obviously can not manage to no longer produce TVs.
