Oppo Reno5 Pro+ camera details revealed
Oppo is one of the most popular smartphone maker brands. It has released the Oppo Reno5 series in China. The company announces releasing all the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ smartphones on 24th December. Now, ahead of the official launch, the smartphone obtained the TENAA endorsement, which announced the specs for the next handset.
In related news, a few live photographs of Oppo Reno5 Pro+ have appeared on Weibo. These photos show a hole-punch monitor with a cutout in the top left corner of the display. You can see the volume rocker on the left and the power button on the right. The amplifier, the speakers' grille, and the SIM tray are at the bottom. You can see the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ featuring a curved display.
The Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor in the quad rear camera package, as per a report on Weibo by Oppo. Oppo says in the teaser image in the article that it has jointly designed the sensor to have "extreme imaging power" with Sony.
Based on the report provided by the TENAA listing, it is confirmed that Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will use the sensor of Sony IMX766 in the primary camera. GizmoChina report stated that to implement the task of developing the custom-made 50MP lens, Oppo has worked in collaboration with Sony.
Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will also use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. It will also include a similar rear camera and the design of this camera will be similar to Oppo Reno5 Pro. Additionally, this smartphone will also provide a 65W fast charging technology.
Besides this, this report states that the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ is going to be the world’s first smartphone with Sony 50MP IMX766 camera. The textured design of this smartphone is going to make it more eye-catching to its users. The matte color finishing and quad-camera setup at the back makes the phone amazing.
