GovTech 100 list honors Granicus for sixth consecutive year

The GovTech 100 is an annual list compiled and published by Government Technology magazine. Each year, this list honors the top 100 companies focused on making a difference in, and selling to, state and local government agencies across the United States. We’re proud to announce that Granicus is on the GovTech 100 list for the sixth consecutive year, which means our civic engagement platform is featured every year since the list’s inception.

This Year’s Recognition is Particularly Powerful

In 2020, we watched more than 50,000 of our government leaders adapt quickly and make digital engagement a top priority. Government Technology Magazine is a trusted source to many of these visionaries. We consider this recognition a tremendous honor and a celebration of the work we proudly perform every day.

Since the early days of the pandemic, Granicus has provided governments with resources and expert guidance, beginning with a series of COVID-19 tools and quick start solutions in April. Amid the year’s unpredictability, we saw record demand for our civic engagement platform, resulting in more than 400 new project launches, an increase of more than 50 million people joining the Granicus Subscriber Network, and a dramatic rise in audience engagement levels. Together with government agencies, we delivered more than five billion pandemic-related messages to subscribers across the U.S. and U.K., powered websites experiencing traffic spikes of more than 25%, and hosted more than 25,000 fully virtual public meetings.

Providing Critical Tools When They’re Needed Most

Our latest innovation is a Vaccine Communications Toolkit designed to help governments accelerate vaccine communication strategies, enhance trust, and optimize distribution throughout their communities. Launched in December 2020, this resource features digital communications tools, real-time national analytics, and peer content sharing. It also provides the ability to track and schedule vaccine administration to citizens. These tools enable governments to implement best practices and drive action, ensuring that critical vaccine information and updates reach the right audience in a timely manner.
