Huawei Maimang 9 5G introduced in China with 6.8-inch display
The Huawei Maimang 9 5G became official in China today. The 5G-enabled smartphone has arrived as the successor to the Maimang 8 operated Kirin 710, which debuted in June last year. The Maimang 9 has arrived with a buzzing punch-hole display, a big battery and a triple camera setup with 64 megapixels.

The Huawei Maimang 9 5 G includes a curved 3D back and an ergonomic build. It is around 8.9 mm long, and weights 212 grams. The Maimang 9 comes with a 6.8 inch display endorsing 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen delivers Maximum HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper from the upper-left punch-hole rooms. The handset provides a storage size of 90.3 per cent, according to Huawei.
Photography is one of the Maimang 9 5G's greatest capabilities. It includes a triple camera system operated by AI at the back of it. The f/1.79 aperture 64-megapixel prime lens is assisted by an 8-megapixel f/2.2 aperture lens with 120-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 aperture depth camera. The triple cameras provide apps such as EIS, super night scene mode and 4 K capture of images.
The Huawei Maimang 9 5 G has onboard MediaTek Dimension 800 5 G chipset. This provides support for SA / NSA 5 G dual mode networks. The system houses a 4,300mAh battery which supports quick charging of 22.5W. The Android 10 OS based on EMUI 10.1 comes pre-loaded into the device. It also includes a microSD card tray, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
