HTC Desire 20 Pro will be the first HTC phone to operate on Android 10
Google keeps adding information about the HTC Desire 20 Pro – after it appeared in Google Play Support, it's now also accessible in the Console. This gives us more information concerning the phone's inside components.
A Snapdragon 665 chipset with 6 GB of RAM will drive the Desire 20 Pro, a change from the low-end MediaTek chips that HTC has used in several of its recent launches. Here's a sad statistics – this is the first phone HTC will release with Android 10. The only company that it will have is the U11 Life, which started with 8.0 and was recently updated to 10.
Anyway the screen has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340px. The schematics show a camera with a punch hole at the top left. Based on the number of the pixels, the image size will be about 6.5 ». It is probably an LCD panel, since a fingerprint reader will be on the back.
There's still no information on when to reveal the HTC Desire 20 Pro. No comment, either, about if a non-pro edition would be available.
